Echinodorus Ascherianus - Unpotted Plants (Imported from Singapore)

Echinodorus Ascherianus is an older variety of Amazon sword that is not commonly seen in the aquarium hobby. This aquatic plant produces large, long leaves that vary in different shades of green. Due to its big size, we recommend this plant for larger aquariums. Echinodorus work well for Wabi Kusa and as single specimen displays. Similar to other Echinodorus species, Ascherianus is a hardy plant that adapts to a wide range of parameters making it suitable for beginner hobbyists. It should be noted that aquatic swords are heavy root feeders and require hearty substrates to establish strong root systems for healthy growth as a minimum.
