Echinodorus Scaber - Unpotted Plants (Imported from Singapore)

Echinodorus scaber is a natural species, distributed from Venezuela to the northern states of Brazil. The leaves are light to dark green, oval or with a shallow heart-shaped notch. On the leaves, 5 veins converging to an oval pointed apex are clearly visible.
Echinodorus scaber is best cultivated in poor soil in a less lit area to prevent the lush growth that can cause a transition to an above-water form of existence.
Scaber - means "rough" - and indeed the leaves are noticeably rough to the touch.
